GTM curated list
Awesome Fractional GTM
A curated guide to fractional go-to-market: the operators, tools, playbooks, and frameworks behind hiring a part-time GTM leader or GTM engineer instead of a full-time team.
Fractional GTM is how early-stage and lean B2B companies get senior go-to-market firepower without a full-time hire: a part-time operator or GTM engineer who builds the pipeline system, then hands it off or keeps running it. This list maps the space: what the role is, who does it (peers and competitors included, listed fairly), the tooling, and the playbooks worth reading. Every entry below is a real, verifiable page. Nothing here is invented.

Fractional GTM vs the alternatives

Tools & automation
Outbound sequencers, CRM, workflow automation, and the growing pile of Claude Code / AI-agent skill packs built for GTM work. Competitor repos included on purpose.
- agent-gtm-skills - 18 AI agent skills that turn a coding agent into a GTM operator, covering positioning, pricing, outbound, inbound, and retention.
- awesome-gtm-engineering - the other awesome-list in this space. Strong on data infrastructure, attribution, and analytics tooling; as of this writing it has no entries on fractional GTM hiring or practitioners, which is part of why this list exists.
- gtm-agents - a large (67-plugin) production collection of GTM agents and skills for Claude Code, covering sales, marketing, customer success, and RevOps.
- gtm-eng-skills - Claude Code skills for waterfall email enrichment, TAM building, signal discovery, and job-change detection, built on the Deepline CLI.

Playbooks & frameworks
Signal-based & intent outbound
Most vendor content in this niche is promotional filler dressed as a playbook. This is the one that held up under a closer read; more will be added as they're found and verified.
Data & enrichment
Well-known providers in the GTM/RevOps data stack. Inclusion here is not an endorsement, just a map of what's out there.
- Apollo.io - combined B2B contact database and sales engagement platform.
- Clay - the enrichment/orchestration tool that popularized the term "GTM engineer."
- Cognism - B2B contact data with a GDPR-focused EMEA data set.
- HubSpot Breeze Intelligence - formerly Clearbit; HubSpot acquired it and folded it in as a Breeze Intelligence add-on, now effectively HubSpot-only.
- People Data Labs - person and company data infrastructure provider used inside many enrichment waterfalls.
- RB2B - identifies anonymous US website visitors at the person level and pushes profiles to Slack.
- Warmly - broader visitor-identification and revenue-orchestration platform, company and person-level, with automated outbound plays.
Case studies & teardowns
Real, public engagement write-ups are rare in this space; most of what's published is a vendor's own case studies, not an independent teardown. This section stays short rather than padded.
- GTM Engineering Company case studies - a GTM engineering agency's own published case studies (named clients including Spara, NodeSource, and IAG Real Estate). Read as vendor-published, not independently verified.
Hiring: fractional vs full-time
Communities
- Clay Community - roughly 34,000 members; the de facto home for GTM engineering discussion, not just Clay-specific questions.
- Pavilion - paid community for senior GTM/RevOps operators (Director and above).
- RevGenius - large free Slack-based community for sales, marketing, and RevOps, including a GTM engineering cohort track.

The harder question
Who is going to build the fix?
A list of the space is step one. Getting a working system shipped into your live stack, in weeks, is the job. That is what a fractional GTM engineer does: find the one lever, build the first working fix, hand you a system a hire can run.
